[Mature Bottle Release] Les Chagniots 2017 is the first release from Chanterêves' own vineyard. Les Chagniots is situated between Ladoix and Corgoloin. It is a small parcel of 0.17 ha. We farm organic without certification. As far as spraying goes, minimal copper is used for Downy Mildew, low-fat milk for Powdery Mildew, but no sulfur is applied. The vineyard is ploughed by horse by Pierre Seuillot, who is a master in his field. He specialised in horse ploughing at Leflaive before setting up his small company and now ploughs for many prominent producers in the region. The wine exhibits energy, stoniness, and minerality, presenting a fresh and vibrant profile. (by Chanterêves)

[Mature Bottle Release] This wine is made from organically farmed Pinot Noirs from Ladoix, lieu-dits "Les Briquottes", which offer fine bouquets of red fruits such as raspberries. Its feather-like texture makes us almost overlook the presence of tannins. The charm of this wine lies in its contrast and contradiction; initially, it gives off a light impression; however, we are soon struck by its depth and beauty. In a way, our Briquottes embody the essence of our red wines. (by Chanterêves)

[Mature Bottle Release] Les Chagniots is situated between Ladoix and Corgoloin. 100 years ultra old vines are planted on 0.17 ha tiny parcel. Tomoko and Guillaume farm organic using phytotherapy approaches researched and recommended by plant scientist Eric Petiot. The vineyard is ploughed by horse by Gilbert Simond, the most demanded horse plougher of the Côte, from Domaine de Montille to Comtes Lafon. Cover crop mix of 26 different perennial plant species is employed to maintain bio-diversity and healthy soil composition, structure and microbial life. Energetic and dense. Beautiful texture. Elegance and power are well balanced. Aligoté with charm, depth, and complexity. Their artisan spirit reaches to the every detail corner.

[Mature Bottle Release] Chardonnay from Pernand Vergellesses la Morand, which is adjacent to the celebrated 1er cru Sous Frétille. This lieu-dit is steep and gravelly with thin top- soil. Marked with minerality and stoniness. Aromas of stone fruit. Mid-body with creamy texture.
[Mature Bottle Release] Chantereves sourced Chardonnay from the Lieu-dit "La Périère" in 2019. Rich fruits, mineral and acidity are balanced in high level. Vineyards of Saint-Romain are located on slopes at high altitude(the highest 420m) and the soil is composed by the blend of limestones and marls. The combination of cool climate and characteristic soil makes wine with mineral and delicacy. - Chantereves has been a specialist of Saint-Romain sisnce the beginning.

The lieu-dit “Mainbey” is located on the other side of the small valley that separates it from the village of Fussey, at a high altitude of 470 meters. The vines are some of the oldest of the domaine at 41 years, and hence the yield is low. (by Chanterêves)

The lieu-dit “Bas des Ees” is located close to the village of Marey-les-Fussey. It is the closest parcel to the border with Hautes Côtes de Nuits but still on the side of Hautes Côtes de Beaune. It is surrounded by pastures and far away from the neighboring parcels. Given its high altitude of 470 meters, it is the last parcel we pick. This also explains its freshness and tension. The lieu-dit “Les Monts de Fussey” is situated above the village of Echeveronne, just below Fussey. It is at the borderline of Hautes Côtes de Beaune and Nuits but still on the side of Hautes Côtes de Beaune. Among our Hautes Côtes de Beaune parcels, it is the lowest in altitude at 400 meters. It faces southeast on a moderate slope, with very stony limestone-marl soil. (by Chanterêves)
The lieu-dit “Mainbey” is located on the other side of the small valley that separates it from the village of Fussey, at a high altitude of 470 meters. It is the biggest lieu-dit of the domaine, divided into three Chardonnay parcels and one Aligoté parcel. All of the Chardonnay parcels are in good health with modest vigor. Floral with orange peel, elegant. Dense yet harmonious with impressive length. Vibrant and energetic, with elegant acidity. (by Chanterêves)

Pinot Noir from “Les Tuyax.” Old vines (50 to 60 years). Our parcel is located adjacent to “Aux Herbues,” which is at the frontier of NSG and Vosne Romanée. Dark fruit with light carbonic traits. Lyrical, lifted and beautifully defined. Complexity that is well above the Villages level. (by Chanterêves) / 2021 is airy and smooth. Seductive wine.
“Champs Longs” is one of the most celebrated lieu-dits for Pinot Noir in Chorey. Alluvial soil mixed with limestone gravel gives an excellent balance between water retention and water drainage. Fresh and fruity with carbonic notes. Round tannins accompanied with nice acidity. Joyful yet delicate.(by Chanterêves)
“Dessus de Montchenevoy” is located above the renowned Savigny 1er Cru Aux Guettes, isolated from neighboring vineyards and surrounded by forest, at 350 meters’ altitude on a west-facing slope. This location is doubly ideal with the effects of global warming: the cool air from the forest coupled with the high altitude result in slow ripening. As a result, the long hang time enables the sugar ripeness to synchronize with that of the physiologic ripeness. Mélange of red and dark fruit. Palate: ample, well structured. Dense with aromatic complexity. Lingering finish. (by Chanterêves)

The lieu-dit “Les Joyeuses” is adjacent to the 1er Cru of the same name in Ladoix. Shallow topsoil, with solid and hard limestone bedrock beneath. The vigor is compromised and so it naturally makes for a concentrated wine. Beautiful poached red fruit. Palate: Perfumed, spicy. Dense and complex, yet fresh. No matter the vintage, this Ladoix delivers. (by Chanterêves)
Over 45 years old vine Pinot Noirs from Paris l’Hôpital in Haute Côte de Beaune of dark sandy Granit. As the sandy steep slopes are prone to erosion, the middle of the rows are all year no-till. Floral with bouquets of dark red fruits. Very fine tannins with racy acidity. Complex and structured. Dense yet lifted. Floral, mélange of red and dark fruits. Palate: well-structured with present tannins. Fresh with beautiful acidity. (by Chanterêves)

Delicate and floral with citrus. Pristine, gorgeous and layered, with racy minerality. It gains in complexity as it ages. As in 2014, 2020 is certainly one of the best Morgeot we’ve made. (by Chanterêves)
Chardonnay from Dezize-les-Maranges “Vigne Blanche.” Relatively deep soil, laden with limestone gravels. An ideal south-facing slope at an altitude of 300 meters, combining good ripening potential with high acidity.
