Tomoko Kuriyama and Guillaume Bott, the maison de vin "Chanterêves", this domaine & micro-négoce reached the milestone 10th vintage in 2019. They have continued fine-tuning of details of wine-making every year, and sometimes they have changed the wine making drastically. Today, early vintages such as '10, '11, '12, '13 have proved ability of their wine to age and authenticity, and '14 and '15 indicated synchronization of their direction and natural wine movement much clearer, and they have expanded their lineup in '16, '17, '18 including "domaine" wine. The weather favoured their 10th vintage 2019, it's a compilation of their experience for 10 years. Chanterêves renewed label design from 2020 vintage. It looks like they declare stepping into next decade with their renewed determinations. They work with growers closely to obtain ideal grapes(they also work in vineyards), and using biologically farmed grapes preferentially. Wine-making has carried out naturally as much as possible under non-interventional manner. Fermented by indigenous yeasts, new barrels are not used at all. There is no gimmick or makeup. This natural wines are supported by high quality of grapes and their artisanal spirit with sophisticated skills. It is the biggest lieu-dit of the domaine, divided into three Chardonnay parcels and one Aligoté parcel. All of the Chardonnay parcels are in good health with modest vigor. Floral with orange peel, elegant. Dense yet harmonious with impressive length. Vibrant and energetic, with elegant acidity. Alluvial soil mixed with limestone gravel gives an excellent balance between water retention and water drainage. Fresh and fruity with carbonic notes. Round tannins accompanied with nice acidity. This location is doubly ideal with the effects of global warming: the cool air from the forest coupled with the high altitude result in slow ripening. As a result, the long hang time enables the sugar ripeness to synchronize with that of the physiologic ripeness. Mélange of red and dark fruit. Palate: ample, well structured. Dense with aromatic complexity. Lingering finish.  (by Chanterêves) The lieu-dit “Les Joyeuses” is adjacent to the 1er Cru of the same name in Ladoix. Shallow topsoil, with solid and hard limestone bedrock beneath. The vigor is compromised and so it naturally makes for a concentrated wine. Beautiful poached red fruit. Palate: Perfumed, spicy. Dense and complex, yet fresh. No matter the vintage, this Ladoix delivers. (by Chanterêves) Over 45 years old vine Pinot Noirs from Paris l’Hôpital in Haute Côte de Beaune of dark sandy Granit. As the sandy steep slopes are prone to erosion, the middle of the rows are all year no-till. Floral with bouquets of dark red fruits. Very fine tannins with racy acidity. Complex and structured. Dense yet lifted. Floral, mélange of red and dark fruits. Palate: well-structured with present tannins. Fresh with beautiful acidity. Organically farmed and tended meticulously from one of the leading domaines of the village. Delicate and floral with citrus. Pristine, gorgeous and layered, with racy minerality. It gains in complexity as it ages. As in 2014, 2020 is certainly one of the best Morgeot we’ve made. Dense yet lifted. Certainly the best Hautes Côtes de Beaune Tomoko and Guillaume have made in 10 years. Performs well above its humble appellation and it well matches a good village or even some 1er cru. Pinot Noirs from Paris l’Hôpital in Haute Côte de Beaune of dark sandy Granit. Floral with bouquets of dark red fruits. Fine tannins with racy acidity. Complex and structured. A very elegant and charming Haute Côte impresses with its scale and performs well above its humble appellation and it well matches a good village or even some 1er cru.       1
