[JEAN-PIERRE MOUEIX Vineyards]
Produced in very limited quantities, Annonce enjoys the same attention as the Grand Vin. A significant portion of Annonce is produced from younger vines, which are part of a replanting program initiated after the Moueix family acquired the estate in 2008. This strategy aims to improve vineyard yield and quality over time as these younger vines mature. It won't be long before the first label "Château Bélair-Monange" is produced from the same vines. Thus, drinking the current Annonce is like drinking the future Château Bélair-Monange. You already understand, of course, that in French, "Annonce" means "announcement" in English, and it also signifies 'sign' or 'omen'. The label depicts an angel as a messenger conveying a bright future for these young vines.
