This wine is made from organically farmed Pinot Noirs from Ladoix, lieu-dits "Les Briquottes", which offer fine bouquets of red fruits such as raspberries. Its feather-like texture makes us almost overlook the presence of tannins. The charm of this wine lies in its contrast and contradiction; initially, it gives off a light impression; however, we are soon struck by its depth and beauty. The lieu-dit “Les Joyeuses” is adjacent to the 1er Cru of the same name in Ladoix. Shallow topsoil, with solid and hard limestone bedrock beneath. The vigor is compromised and so it naturally makes for a concentrated wine. Beautiful poached red fruit. Palate: Perfumed, spicy. Dense and complex, yet fresh.
