The lieu-dit “Les Joyeuses” is adjacent to the 1er Cru of the same name in Ladoix. Shallow topsoil, with solid and hard limestone bedrock beneath. The vigor is compromised and so it naturally makes for a concentrated wine. Beautiful poached red fruit. Palate: Perfumed, spicy. Dense and complex, yet fresh.
