[Mature Bottle Release] The wine is made from extremely old Vieilles Vignes, with some vines over 60 years old and others reaching 90 years old. The small 0.22ha parcel produces an extremely refined expression of fruit flavors, with high density, richness, and a well-structured backbone of a noble acidity and minerality. This wine is approaching its optimal drinking window, but it still has room for further aging and development.

Chardonnay from Chassagne-Montrachet 1er Cru Les Chaumes, located within the larger Morgeot appellation. Organically farmed and tended meticulously from one of the leading domaines of the village.
Delicate and floral with citrus. Pristine, gorgeous and layered, with racy minerality. It gains in complexity as it ages. As in 2014, 2020 is certainly one of the best Morgeot we’ve made. (by Chanterêves)
